James transformed what was a unused bedroom into a beautiful upstairs spacious bathroom in-keeping with my Victorian terrace. He did a amazing job and is exceptionally thorough and meticulous in his work.

He kept the house very tidying during what was a messy job, especially when ripping the walls out. He also reconfigured the old downstairs bathroom into a useable utility. I am beyond happy with the outcome and it makes me smile every time I go in there. I would definitely recommend James’s services. I’m really happy with the work James at Piha did for me. He rescued a kitchen refurbishment job that had gone awry during lockdown, sourcing tradespeople and providing technical project management to get the job finished. He also plumbed the kitchen and installed a new bathroom. I particularly appreciated his respectful, transparent and open approach to communicating about the work, its costs and any issues arising, so that there were no surprises for me, and I felt properly informed to make decisions as necessary. It was refreshing how easy this communication felt. James is very has a natural instinct for what the customer wants and needs to know about a job to feel properly informed.
